Fighting Styles: Linear Knife

Fighting Styles’ Knife Fighting I addresses the use of the knife with a regular forward grip, in a Knife-to-Knife Fighting scenario. Hwa Rang Do Grandmaster, Taejoon Lee offers detailed strategies, tactics, and training tips of the fundamentals of utilizing the knife in a linear pattern to effectively apply the knife as a defensive tool against a knife wielding attacker. It is first demonstrated by Grandmaster Lee and then application of the technique is analyzed and demonstrated for you to study.

All the techniques in this app, are sourced from the Korean martial art of Hwa Rang Do, one of the world’s most comprehensive martial arts systems. It was founded in 1960 by Dr. Joo Bang Lee and derived from a fighting system known as Um Yang Kwon, a particular lineage of combat skills linked to the ancient Hwarang - a warrior class of knights from the ancient Kingdon of Silla, in what is today known as Korea.
