CoffeeConnect (CoCo)

CoffeeConnect (CoCo) is a location based mobile phone application that connects people near each other over coffee. It's a quick, simple and approachable way to meet new people near you. Users simply:
1) Log on to CoffeeConnect
2) Scroll through members who want to grab a cup of coffee and meet new people
3) See who is checked in at nearby coffee shops and wants to share a cup and a conversation
4) Send users a chat
5) Go meet face-to-face at a local café and enjoy a cup of coffee and a conversation

Coffee has been connecting people for centuries; we are simply using today’s technology to give it a boost.

By connecting people over coffee, CoCo answers a question that many of us have previously asked ourselves- how do I meet people in this crazy, busy, buzzing town?!

Some of us are new to where we live; others just want to meet new and interesting people. We know that there are tons of great people right nearby that we could become fast friends with, that can help us in our career or we can hit it off with romantically. But, and it's a big BUT, we are often too busy, too over-worked or too shy to actually start a conversation.

So whether you are a busy professional who has no time to date, or a student who just moved to the city and is looking to make new friends, you now have the tool to see others nearby who also want to meet new people and connect with them over a coffee. Easy.
We purposely don't include the Facebook Connect functionality because we want you to meet new people.  You already know your Facebook friends, now go out and make new ones!
