Period or menstruation cycle in a nutshell.
Period is a consequence of processes going in female body to prepare her to conceive a child. There are just 3 basic processes in a cycle:
1. Menstruation (red color)
2. Ovulation (green color)
3. PMS (blue color)
Menstruation
Is the shedding of the uterine lining, or simply monthly bleeding. The first day of her cycle starts with menstruation and is needed to prepare woman’s body for pregnancy. It usually lasts 7 days, but may vary depending on age, health and lifestyle of particular woman.
