Peach Wallet is a non-custodial bitcoin wallet with an emphasis on Lightning Network micro-payments. If you do not already have a Lightning node configured, the app provides a set of clear step-by-step instructions on getting one started for free via Google Cloud. If you do have a node up and running, the app will require you to provide the Host, TLS Cert, and Macaroons hex of your node to connect.
Please be aware that this is a Beta version and development of the Peach Wallet is still in progress. It means that different issues can occur during wallet usage. Using real coins may be risky and may lead to loss of funds.
Common features
The Peach wallet supports the following features, which have already become common for existing Lightning Network wallets:
• Sending & receiving payments within the Lightning Network using payment request.
• Sending & receiving onchain payments. Regular transactions within Bitcoin blockchain.
• Transaction history. Details on payments that are sent and received with your wallet account are kept in history section, so you can always have access to them when it is needed.
• Payment request. You can generate kind of invoice and send it to another person to pay it.
• Custom Lightning Network channel opening. You can create custom channel by specifying Lightning ID and host IP of a peer.
Unique features
• Sending & receiving payments within the Lightning Network using Lightning ID. Works only between LightningPeach users.
• Stream payments between LightningPeach users. Stream payments can be useful in cases when per second charges are more appropriate than regular payments (for example, voice and video calls with per second charge). Works only between LightningPeach users.
• Address book. With the help of address book, you can specify clear and convenient contact names. This is very useful as later you can select them on the Lightning page, thus no need to copy & paste, remember or keep Lightning ID somewhere on paper or your device.

- Now there are two privacy modes:
- Standard mode – the mode, in which there is no communication with central server. This allows you to save anonymity provided by the Lightning network.
- Extended mode – in this mode you can use all wallet functions with the help of central server. This mode opens access to such features as address book, paying by Lightning ID and stream payments.
The privacy mode can be changed anytime.
- Invoices in socket messages, which are sent through the server, are now encrypted. It means that invoice data, as well as received payment requests, now can't be read by third parties, thus it provides more security for your invoices and received payment requests.
- The application now can be secured with the help of PIN. This adds more security to your funds and privacy to your activities within the wallet application.
- The Privacy Policy document has been updated. Main changes include the following:
- Added the descirption of what data is collected in each user mode (Incognito and Extended one).
- Updated information on collecting additional user data with Google Analytics and Firebase.
- Removed several purposes for which user's data is collected.
