SG Next Holiday - 2015 and 2016 Singapore Public Holidays with Today Widget

Ever wonder when is the next public holiday in Singapore? Need a quick reference to Singapore's public holidays? SG Next Holiday is the app for you as it provides Singapore's public holiday information in a clear and simple card format.

It also includes a Today widget to display the next upcoming holiday and you can add more features like inserting holidays to calendar and a countdown mode for the holidays via in-app purchase; everything you will need for Singapore public holidays.

• 2015-2016 Singapore public holidays with upcoming holiday highlighted

2015 public holidays include the special one-off SG50 Public Holiday declared by the President of Singapore. 2017 and beyond public holidays will be added via future app updates.

• Today widget to display the next coming holiday

Find out what’s the upcoming holiday without opening the app. Widget can be upgraded to display countdown and day of week for the holiday with in-app purchase.

• Add/Update all holidays of a chosen year to default calendar (available with in-app purchase)

If holidays have been added with this function previously, using it again will update calendar with any new changes instead and not create duplicates.

Please note that the calendar events created are “timezone aware” and thus not all-day events. Check out the App Store screenshots for sample Calendar Event Details.

• Countdown Mode (available with in-app purchase)

Toggle display to show countdown to holidays and count up for holidays that are over. Find out the number of days till Singapore’s National Day, Christmas, etc, and how many days have passed since the New Year, etc.

• Designed for better usability on iPhone 6 and 6 plus

Main controls are placed at the bottom of the screen.


For users who are not in the same timezone as Singapore:
Please note that app-displayed and widget-displayed holiday dates are unconverted Singapore dates to minimise confusion, such as displaying the New Year as 31 Dec of previous year.

What's updated
• 2016 public holidays added and 2014 public holidays removed. The 2015 date for Deepavali has been confirmed to fall on 10 November, no changes from the current date specified. Please check out Singapore's Ministry of Manpower's press release titled “Singapore Public Holidays 2016” at their website for public holidays details.

• Countdown Mode updated to include public holiday date and day of week information. Please check the Info button(blue "i") in Pro Features for a screenshot example in app.

• New lock icon for unpurchased Add/Update to Calendar feature.
