Think You Know: Chinese Open Face Poker is a training game created to help you understand the core strategies of Chinese Open Face Poker as well as the more complex logical and statistical situations that you will encounter.
Overall, COFP is still in its infancy and the best strategies are being developed by the day. However, we’ve found that the lessons within this app can help players by leaps and bounds. More advanced players will enjoy the analysis of mid to late-hand play and gain a better understanding of the percentages of specific draw scenarios.
Stipulations of the game-style this strategy applies to (although you’ll find that the logic translates to a broader field of scenarios):
•Heads-up, first to set
•Standard Chinese Open Face Poker (no ‘fantasyland’ or other props)
•Standard scoring as explained on our website and Facebook page
We’ve tried our best to avoid grey areas and to explain our logic as best as possible. However, every question has an email link within the summary screen at the end of each round; use this as a way to communicate with us if you come across an explanation that is unclear or you feel that our reasoning is just plain wrong! We love your feedback.
