Add Strategy Lite provides students in elementary school math strategies to add numbers in a fun way.
These strategies help students find many possible combinations of numbers to add and get a given result. This game involves other math concepts besides addition such as problem solving, place value and fast computation.
Kids choose their challenge from a menu of equations. First graders can start with one star, second graders may start with two stars, and so on.
+ Kids add to a number goal.
+ Kids have a blank equation with either two, three or four addends to fill out.
+ Think your best strategy to add to your goal using the first round of cards from 0 to 9 that will be given randomly to you. Tap any addend (ones, tens, hundreds) to fill the number on the space line or discard it in the trash.
(tip: you can use the number 0 in the tens or hundreds to reach your goal)
+ Kids have the option of redoing the equation by simply tapping the eraser.
+Try to solve as many equations as you can before the time is over.
