Boat-Man - Boat Management

Software for the management and maintenance of pleasure and charter boat

BOAT-MAN
 
The program is multilingual, and its main functions are:
 
Boat tab
In this function the Captain can enter all the information abaut the boat.
For informations: the name of the vessel, flag, call sign, dimensional data, etc..
For technical data included any equipment on board capable of maintenance, such as engines, watermaker, generator, etc.., Vehicle papers, subject to expiration or less, and the safety equipment in order to signal the ‘any impending expiry.
Finally you can insert the photo, the layout or design of the boat that will appear on the screen customizing Boat-Man.
 
Automatic Logbook
The automation that comes with the program for overcoming the real reason why today those who sail for pleasure does not make the Logbook, or does it sporadically and / or incomplete due to lack of time, fatigue, while realizing that the timely holding of such a document is often useful and sometimes indispensable.
The GPS technology, which works to support the various features of the program, allowing the software, autonomy, to draw up a detailed daily log book, inserting in it a map of traffic patterns, with data on speed, average fuel consumption, use of equipment on board.
The Captain, if you would, can integrate these data with their personal records, the list of persons present on board, photographs and movies, weather data collected.
This document, when printed and signed by the Captain, as well as having legal value in case of any type of dispute, such as insurance, will be delivered
a copy of the “crew” at the end of a cruise as a pleasant memory, or as a ground for promotion and customer loyalty in the case of charter, or more.

Maintenance
From the technical data included in the basic setup, Boat-Man detects whether a deadline approaching and/or a maintenance to be performed returning it in the "Job List".

Job list
The function allows you to record many things to do in a boat to prepare it, and follow them during the execution track for the future.
The Captain can enter a list of jobs that require the boat, indicating who will be deputy to the intervention possibly accompanied with personal comments.
Once loaded the work to be done, given the comments and free labor “clerk of reference”, which can be either a person crew that external maintenance company, the program allows view and print the list organized:
- The next work to be performed
- The work to be performed by employee
- The work to be performed on a certain date
- By type of work
The Captain, after receiving the completed work sheet, it can integrate with comments relating to the work.
The historical list of works carried out with their comments provide a useful mnemonic device for the future.
 
Crew List / Guest
In many landings often ask the Port Authority to produce a full list of people
on-board data and related documents (Passport number, ID card, etc..).
With this feature just a “clicks” to get the list automatically and tidy.
The card contains the persons on board, besides the name, all the important aspects of that person.

Other features will be implemented with the next version of the program.
For example: Saving multiple cruises, reports, etc..
