Please note that this application is an accessory to LanSchool Classic v. 8.0 or higher. Without the LanSchool Classic license, this app will not work. The current LanSchool Classic version is 9.0.

The LanSchool Teacher app is the iOS-enabled teacher console for LanSchool Classic, the award-winning classroom management solution that helps teachers be more effective in a digital classroom.

Users must have a license for LanSchool Classic to take advantage of the following mobile benefits of the LanSchool Teacher app:

Reduce Student Distractions
Teachers can reduce digital distractions by Blanking Screens, Limiting Applications and Limiting Web Browsing on student devices. This helps direct student attention to the lesson.

Monitor Students
Ideal for monitoring student activity within a classroom setting, the Thumbnail feature allows the teacher to view all screens, including current applications or open websites.

Assess Student Understanding
Quickly poll students during a lecture using true/false or multiple-choice questions.

Help Individual Students
Engage with students who digitally raise their hand using the Request Help feature.

Discover Student Computers
The Teacher Assistant automatically discovers student computers on the Teacher’s Console channel.

Thumbnails
The Teacher app displays resizable, high-color thumbnails of student computer screens.

Remote Control
Control student computers from any iOS device.

Voting
True/False, Multiple Choice or Verbal questions can be sent to the students. Student results are tabulated and displayed in real-time.

Send Message
Engage with students using customized messages sent to one, several, or all students.

Details View
For any connected device, see details such as battery information, last used application, and last visited website.
