MRM App is a completely offline app to find trains & routes between Mumbai lifeline - Local trains as well as Metro & Mono rail network.
MRM App doesn't miss even trivial information about your complete journey, like
Train information such as: No. of Car, Speed, Ladies train, etc.
Route information such as: Where to Change, Platform No. to board, etc.
Overall journey duration, intermediate stations, etc.
Features
• Works without internet once downloaded from the App Store
• Routes from any station to any station (All Mumbai Suburban stations, including Metro and Mono lines)
• Quick access to "Next Train" list at a tap
• Add your route and save it as "Favorite".
• Complete Mumbai rail network MRM Map designed by students of IDC, IIT Bombay
• Browse Map feature to search any station.
• Highlight searched route on the Map
• Share your journey with friends via SMS or as an Image
• No unnecessary permissions
About MRM Project
Mumbai Rail Map Project began as a class assignment at Industrial Design Centre, IIT Bombay. The desire was to give Mumbai City a Rail map. When the real map was tested on railway stations people demanded a Mobile App.
That led to creation of the MRM App.
