Everything Veterans need to know about the services provided by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) in New England all in the palm of your hand.
Using the VISN 1 New England App, Veterans will be able to:
· Get the latest VA News through the Instant News Feed
· Locate a VA facility using offline mapping
· Get driving directions to any VA facility with GPS location
· Learn about the programs and services available to Veterans and their families from the Veterans Health Administration, Veterans Benefits Administration and the National Cemetery Administration. Three integrated eGuides cover:
· Eligibility requirements and how to apply for VA Health Care
· Veterans benefits, including life insurance, pensions, education and training benefits, disability compensation, home loan guaranty
· Burial and memorial options
