ALTRG RACE
The AltRG Race introduces a new concept of Race Game, which combines gaming and outdoor activity. Each Race Game leads players through a historical visit using geolocation and a series of riddles. Many Race Games are available through in-App purchase (see below).
RACE GAME
The race starts at an easy to find location, usually a subway station. Once you get to the start location (the phone uses GPS to verify your position), the App challenges you with a riddle to find the next location within a limited amount of time. To advance, players must get to the exact location within the time frame. If you fail, the App reveals the location and allows you to get there using Maps. While you are trying to find the location, the App gives you hints along the way. The faster a player gets to the destination the more points they accumulate.
The race allows you discover historic places and monuments. At each steps the App gives you a little bit of history, a link to the appropriate Wikipedia article and the distance travelled to get there.

OLD MONTREAL RACE
Discover the Old Montréal like never before. Travel through the town's history searching for the places and the people that made this city. The race starts at subway station Champs-de-Mars and takes approximately 3 hours to walk.
NEW-YORK RACE
Discover downtown New-York and run through the oldest part of Manhattan. The race starts at subway station Bowling Green and takes approximately 2 hours to walk.
PARIS RACE
Discover the heart of ancient Paris and run through the île de la Cité searching for the places and the people that made this city. The race starts at subway station Pont Neuf and takes approximately 2 hours to walk.
WARNING
This application uses the GPS to track your progress through the race. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
