During 2014 the City of Morro Bay will be celebrating a significant milestone, reaching 50 years of incorporation. We are excited to include the community and visitors in all aspects surrounding the 50th Celebration Year of Morro Bay’s “Landmark & Legacy.” We welcome you to join the special activities and events that will highlight Morro Bay's 50th celebration all year long. July 4.
Celebrate your independence all day long with Morro Bay’s unique 4th of July event. Activities happen all day long including: a skateboard race, live music, a bike parade, children’s activities, patriotic activities, and fireworks. Local food and beverage vendors will be onsite to fix your appetite needs. Events begin at 10 am. and end with fireworks at 9 pm.
