With tasty Italian roots tracing back to the 1970’s Bella has always had a pioneering influence in the UK restaurant market. In the 1970’s the first seeds of Bella Italia were planted as the UK’s first US-style pizza chain called Pizzaland opened in London.This fast, fun and original experience was an instant hit and by the late 1970’s there were 30 Pizzaland restaurants in the UK alone. A sister brand Pastifichio was soon opened on the back of this success and in the 1990’s the restaurants were given a brand overhaul to become the much loved Bella Pasta many of our loyal customers will remember today.In recent years Bella Pasta took on the Bella Italia name to reflect the wide range of Italian inspired food on offer.
