GetRewardz is the new app about pocket money and more, designed to make growing up easier and more fun for children, teenagers and parents. So much more than a digital star chart, GetRewardz reminds parents of aims and goals and incentivises children and teens to do tasks in return for rewards.
Children on GetRewardz can create a wish list for parents, family and friends to see when a birthday or a reward is due! Plus heaps of opportunities to cash in on gifts and rewards.
Open to children age 7-15, GetRewardz provides a lively way to practice running an account and learning responsibility before they are old enough to open a real bank account.
Parents can agree House Rules in exchange for pocket money and Set Tasks as ways to encourage more effort and more rewards. Tasks like ‘help with the washing up’ and ‘Remember to switch your lights and gadgets off’.
It’s fun, engaging and involves friends and family, all by parental agreement. GetRewardz aims to encourage fitness, healthy lifestyles and a positive attitude to work and life.
What’s it all about?
GetRewardz is an everyday chance to earn GetRewardz ‘coins’ in the app that can be exchanged for real rewards – agreed by parents for children and teenagers.
The idea is to make better money management part of family life and teach some simple negotiating skills that get rewards. Parents and children can agree simple deals like:
• wash dishes
• go to bed on time
• do homework straight after school
