Five years after its first release, Script Evolution has now become the standard iPad application for script supervisors on movie sets, saving you hours of work every day. With version 2, it is now the ultimate tool for a 100% digital paperless experience on the set and provides extensive support for various working methods and production requirements.
Script Evolution provides you with all the tools necessary to input all information required to generate all the reports you'll have to produce along the shooting : production report, editing report, log, script lining, wild tracks, etc. No matter if you're shooting a serie or a feature film, and no matter the budget, Script Evolution provides all the features you'll need, at a very reasonable price.
- Base application lets you input all the movie elements: scenes, characters, sets, shots, takes as well as actors, cameras, storage device, etc.
- Reporting Module (included) : produce all the reports you'll ever need either for feature film or serie in english, spanish or french language. Export all the PDF reports in a single zip file ready to be sent via email. Contains : Production report (feature or serie), facing page report, editing report, picture report, sound report, log report, script lining report.
- Photo Module (included) : take pictures, tag them with any movie item and find them back immediately whenever you need to check for continuity.
- *NEW in version 2* Script Import (included): import you script in Final Draft to PDF format and let the app generate the skeleton for the application. With iOS split screen, keep your script editing application on one side of your iPad, and Script Evolution on the other to register everything happening on the set while always keeping an eye on the script.
- *NEW in version 2* Script Lining (included): draw lines on the script for each shot or wildtracks of a scene, add notes for the editor and generate pdf every day in one tap.
And because people got confused with our pricing policy, Script Evolution is now free to download ! It contains one free credit to let you try the app on one shooting day. Additional shooting days cost about a drink per day (depending on the country), and projects are readable and editable for free forever.
