True or False Math Equations

This app is designed to help students master the following Common Core Math Standard:
1.OA.D.7: Understand the meaning of the equal sign, and determine if equations involving addition and subtraction are true or false.

Kindergarten, first, and second grade students need scaffolded experiences to develop this skill. This app includes 240 equation cards that are presented in 10 levels of increasing complexity. The levels are:

Addition within 10
Subtraction within 10
Mixed +/- within 10
Addition within 20
Subtraction within 20
Mixed +/- within 20
Addition Problems such as 5 + 1 = 4 + 2 within 10
Subtraction Problems such as 6 - 1 = 7 - 3 within 10
Mixed +/- Problems such as 8 - 2 = 5 + 4 within 10
Mixed +/- Problems such as with 5 + 3 = 14 - 5 within 20
