First of all your PIN and PIN-Recovery Password will be Encrypted (no more dictionary attacks!), and saved in the Keychain ( Apple Inc.'s password management system ) that is not accessible from anywhere except this app on your personal device, what does it mean? It means your password is totally safe, the only way to access the data is using your device, and if someone steals your iPhone or iPad the Keychain and the encryption will keep your data locked forever.
In addition no Internet Connection is needed!So your information will not move from your device.
Instead of using the email to recovery a forgotten PIN (that would mean using internet!) i created a recovery password, it can be any word you like, just use one easy for you to remember, and, as the PIN, can be changed in the "Settings" page.
Obviously you can Backup all the data and restore them in your new device, and your information will always be secured.
