Julie Christensen is a veteran of Leonard Cohen's bands of the 1988 and 1993 tours and on record (and featured in the documentary "Leonard Cohen-I'm Your Man".) She has made 5 of her own soulful CDs of mostly original material in the interim, performing regularly with some of top musicians in America . Julie's also been a voice-slinger for hire live and in the studio with the likes of Robben Ford, John Doe, Exene Cervenka, Steve Wynn and Van Dyke Parks. Julie's new Americana album "Weeds Like Us", produced by Mavis Staples' bassist and solo artist Jeff Turmes, came out late in 2012 and boasts a stellar lineup of fine musicians.
