Ripple is a decentralized, open-source protocol designed to send and receive money in most currencies. Whether you’re working with dollars, euros or yen, Ripple automatically exchanges all existing currencies within the system, making global payments easy. And because Ripple bypasses banks and credit card networks, there are no delays and no exorbitant transaction fees. Transactions clear in a matter of seconds, as Ripple’s distributed network of servers updates its ledger.
With the Ripple app you can:
VIEW the balances in your Ripple Wallet in multiple currencies
SEND payments in any currency, instantly, to any other Ripple user. Access other Ripple users from your contacts list, by entering their Ripple Wallet Public Address, or by scanning their QR code.
RECEIVE payments easily by quickly sending another party your public address or a QR code.
ACCESS your transaction history.
You must have an activated Ripple account to use the Ripple app. Go to www.ripple.com for more information.
