Did you know that the scene of the Greek old movie “Tzeni-Tzeni” was filmed at the Mpekiris cave?
And also, that the lighthouses of Spetses and Tzia were the first that operated in 1837?
The magnificent Spetses will travel you through time, to the age of the Greek Revolution in 1821. If you visit the island on September then you’ll be able to see the Armata Festival, while the Mansion of Mpoympoylina will wait for you open.
You can reach the island through land or sea and you can swim in one of its beaches, while the noon you could taste Fish ala Spetsiota in one of the many picturesque tavernas.
