Clash is an independent music magazine and online community thriving on the fringes of the mainstream yet powered by the restless energy of subculture.
As obsessed with the old as with the new, Clash deconstructs and celebrates music, fashion, film and lifestyle in inimitable style. Covering all forms of music, Clash marries incisive journalism with a distinctive and immersive aesthetic that has kept the print issue at the forefront of the music press for nearly 10 years.
The digital edition retains this central ethos and delivers an interactive and immersive music experience, allowing you to read about, watch and listen to a great selection of new music and culture, anywhere and everywhere.
Each month we release a new issue available to download via the app's built in store. Below is what has been published so far.
Issue 1 features Indie Pop Lords Phoenix, UK Bass crooner James Blake, Top predicted Festival moments of 2013, and much more
Issue 2 has features with Tyler the Creator, Mount Kimbie, Primal Scream, Ghostpoet, Sky Ferreira and Tricky. Plus, 8 Hours of music, fashion shoots, recommended album reviews and exclusive streams.
Issue 3 : Clash’s latest digital hub is a celebration of dance culture. Aside from our lush shoot with Maya Jane Coles and backstage vids, Disclosure reveal their top UK garage anthems, Trentemøller unleashes a slick DJ mix, James Holden drops his bass ordinance in our minds, the Clash crew stream a sizzling chart of the latest floor fillers.

Clash presents our future musical heroes; a jostling and rhythmic pack of 10 tips. Poptronica queen BANKS leads our field but stream the sounds of Rosie Lowe, Jungle, Dan Croll and a whole host more on top. Check out the thoughts of Breton and Peace on their new albums then digest a roundup of the latest music released in January.
Issue 6 : Elton John steps up to be Clash Magazine's first ever guest editor. The legendary performer presents a captivating collection of fashion, new music and a litany of collaborators and friends to the pages of this award winning magazine
Issue 7 - Clash catches up with Metronomy to bathe in the starlight of one of Britain's most talented evolutionary bands. Elsewhere we dabble in the musical musings of Katy B, Tensnake, Thievery Corporation as well as rounding up the 10 best new albums in the month of March.
Issue 8 - Our digital edition in April could not be any more full of exclusive audio. With DJ mixes, streams and videos from Atlanta rapper Future and 'Illmatic' celebrant Nas, rock gods Swans and 65daysofstatic and the dance verve of Elliphant - it is packed to the gills. We also reveal our top albums and tracks of the month before finding out exactly how Mr Scruff would like to die. It's very messy.
