imageFLOW.mobile is the best-in-class mobile application for medical imaging PACS’ users on iOS devices. imageFLOW.mobile allows any number of users to access any number of images (even very large ones) anywhere without the need to download the images on the mobile device, providing unmatched image access, viewing and navigation performance.
imageFLOW.mobile turns any iOS device (iPad/iPhone) into a fully effective, high-performance viewing station for any kind of medical imaging modality, regardless of the number of users accessing the PACS database. imageFLOW.mobile can be seamlessly integrated into any DICOM-compliant PACS database and requires very little integration for non-DICOM databases.
The unique capabilities of imageFLOW.mobile are:
- Viewing of any type of images (even extremely large like mammography) without loss of resolution or details.
- Extremely fast navigation through a large number of very large images by many users.
- Extremely high-performance that optimized the iOS device, the 3G/4G/Wi-Fi networks.
- Access to multiple series of images for comparison.
- Very easy integration to existing PACS infrastructure.
For an end user, the benefits are:
- The mobile device is a completely effective viewing platform for all image modalities.
- Any mobile device, regardless of internal storage, can be used. No latency.
- Provides a very efficient infrastructure for teams of clinicians without performance limitations.
- Mobile devices can be used effectively in day-to-day work in mobile applications such as radiology, CT, MRI, PET, digital pathology, dentistry and veterinary medicine.
- User friendly and interactive user interface to quickly navigate through a series of images or multiple series of images.
Fully supports encryption protocols and patient data protection (which can be tailored by the IT department).
The app requires a middleware server to provide the patient data to the device.
For evaluation purposes a public demo server is available.
