Starship Omega

You glide across the black of space. Just you and your starship. The stars streak by all around you while in hyperspace. You are at the beginning of your mission, a long journey that is vital to the survival of the human race.

From the perspective of the cockpit, space is amazingly graceful. Life out here could actually be relaxing compared to the chaos and anarchy taking placing back on Earth. Shortages of foods, widespread violence, and social unrest grip the world in this hour of desperation. Your world's existence is not currently ending but it's demise is imminent.

The Alpha Centauri are building an advanced star fleet that will not arrive for many, many years but will arrive nonetheless…unless you stop them. Mankind has unified to create the most technologically advanced ship to reach and destroy the enemy worlds in a fraction of the time it will take them to build and send off their own fleet. One ship to swing the tides of favor back into humanity.

It is actually amazing how the engineers devised a solution to overcome the hurdles of super speed travel between star systems. We simply engineered a ship that did not need to transport a human. Remove the pilot from the equation. The communication between Starship Omega and Earth over great distances was a difficult issue but once that hurdle was solved by transmitting signals through slip-space, the ship was able to become a reality. You were selected out of all the space pilots in the United Federation to commander the Starship Omega…from Earth.

You will remote control the starship and gaze out at space from the thousands of cameras and sensors abroad Omega. This will be your final mission if you choose to accept. Engage in this 3D space shooter and save humanity from the destruction of the Alpha Centauri!
