The Nebraska Centre for the Education of Children who are blind or Visually Impaired (NCECBVI) is proud to have launched its new Mobile Application. The app will serve as a one stop gateway for Schools, Districts, Students and Teachers to access all the latest related information about NCECBVI on the go.

Founded in 1875, NCECBVI serves children from infancy to age 21. NCECBVI's program offers the expertise and specialized skills of the center's staff to blind, visually impaired, and multi-handicapped students in residential, day, and outreach settings. The mission of NCECBVI is to improve the learning of children who are blind or visually impaired through a commitment to communication, accountability, and leadership.

With NCECBVI’s newly launched Mobile App, communities would get access to all the important facts and information about it anytime, anywhere, in the palm of their hands. Here are a few features of the app:

2. The tiny "refresh" button on the top right of the home screen now refreshes the content on the app without having to restart the app at all. Download the latest version and get rid of needing to restart the app - almost forever!

3. Push Notification Center: Now our end users will have access to a custom push notification center within our clients’ apps. This center is a repository of all of the prior push notifications sent out by our clients into the app. This helps in two ways:
-Gives you a historical archive of all of the push notifications sent on this app.
-Ascertains that even if your phone was not in “good signal zone” and you missed a push notification, you still have access to a historical archive of all the push notifications.
