The Iowa Aviation application has been developed to bring information regarding aviation activity in Iowa into a compatible format for smartphones and tablets, including iPads and iPhones.
This version of the application includes an airport directory, current Iowa aviation weather information, and resources for obtaining other Iowa aviation-related information to assist pilots using the state's air transportation system. The airport directory is stored on the local device, so Internet access is not needed to access the directory once the application has been installed. Some of the other features (weather, the calendar of events, and FaceBook) do require Internet access.

1. AWOS button is now disabled if airport does not have Weather Station.
2. Runways without approaches are be noted as 'N/A' rather than unknown.
3. Resolution on aerial photos was increased.
4. Network unavailability is now clearly indicated.
5. Several formatting issues were corrected.
