XGatePhone

XGate Phone is the easiest and most convenient way to make satellite phone calls with your smartphone when WiFi-connected to an approved satellite phone or router.

XGate Phone Features:
- Make satellite phone calls with your iPhone or iPad

- Ability to connect headset and mic to use phone or tablet hands-free to make calls
- Easy access to phone's contacts to quickly dial friends and family
- Assign extensions
- Messaging over your local area network

Once the XGate Phone app is downloaded onto your phone, simply WiFi-connect to an approved satellite device or router to make outgoing satellite phone calls with your smartphone. Incoming calls will be routed to the primary extension that you have designated in XGate Phone settings.

XGate Phone works with the following equipment:

RedPort Aurora Satellite Phone Terminal
Globalstar Sat-Fi Satellite WiFi Hotspot
RedPort wXa-400 Satellite Router
RedPort wXa-513 Satellite Router

Because RedPort wXa routers work with most satellite broadband units, the following satellite terminals will work with XGate Phone when using a RedPort wXa 400 or 500 series router:

- Inmarsat BGAN
- Inmarsat Fleet One
- Thuraya IP
- Thuraya Seagull
- VSAT
- MSAT
Active satellite airtime account required to successfully make and receive voice calls. Please note that while XGate Phone is a free app, you will still be responsible for standard satellite usage fees for airtime that is used when using this software. Check with your satellite airtime provider for details before using XGate Phone.
