The bittersweet story of beauty and the beast has long enchanted readers the world over. The Scarlet Flower, a Russian folk variation of this classic tale, is adapted from a version by Russian writer of the 19th century Sergey Aksakov.
The Scarlet Flower fairy tale is not a simple book, but also a toy for children from 3 years. It is not only Aksakov's text, but also original illustrations, interesting interactive animations of characters and subjects, and carefully picked up sound effects for each page.
This fairy tale is something like a «quest», where a child have to show his or her imagination to get a response from each page: to stroke a cat, to fling the doors open, to «eat» all food, to drag the moon on the sky, to turn the hands of the clock, to write a letter, to roll a fruit scramble…
Games:
- clothes for the heroine (the child can play changing dresses),
- a ship bypassing obstacles and picking up gifts,
- a coloring book.
