We have virtually rewritten everything in the app from the ground up!
What's new?
An ENTIRELY new UI - you spoke, we listened - Rivr always provided the best media experience, now it has the best reading experience too!
Video posts - yes you can add up to 5 minutes of video to your posts
Camera+ integration - Rivr has an awesome camera, but we know you love Camera+ too so we did the right thing!
Media Hosting! - We've partnered with bli.ms to host your photos on a system that directly links all your posted media to your app.net account , manage your media through the bli.ms web portal!
Geotagging - Rivr has always let you post a location check in, but now you can geotag individual posts, be they text, photo or video!
Twitter cross posting - you can now send your original posts to twitter, and we can even post media there too! And we're smarter than the rest, we don't post replies to clog up your twitter feed!
Bored of Helvetica? Activate twee mode for a Georgiarific app.net experience
Night time mode - Do you enjoy app.net after dark? Switch to night time mode and save your poor retinas!
#topics - tap+hold on a hashtag to turn it into a #topic then revisit it at will - oh and the topics update live so you can follow events as they happen!
Profile editing - simply head to your profile and tap cover art, avatar, name or bio to edit them in app!
Markdown - add *italics* and **bold** or even `monospace` to your posts with basic markdown support
Long post support - Rivr can now detect & display posts from longposts.com
FREE PUSH NOTIFICATIONS - Yes we've made push notifications a free component of Rivr now, and you'll get a chance to rate it under the developer incentive program!
And of course the entire app has been updated under the hood, so that means fewer bugs & more speed!
