The nice thing about this particular alternative world is that you can visit it in person here in our linear world – and the Kcymaerxthaere Travel App is just the ticket for such a treasure hunt.
This app is only one part of a global work of multi-valent storytelling: books, artworks, presentations by the Geographer-at-Large (author of this guide), and most famously, markers and historic sites installed in our world that honor events from these other dimensions.
* How much do you know about the fate of the Clan of Nobunaga?
* The singer Eliala Mei-Ning, whose voice was too beautiful to be concealed?
* Or the beloved 7-legged creatures known as gnaciens?
Their stories and many more are waiting for you to find them.
With this app, you'll be taken to 2 kinds of locations: the Markers, usually bronze plaques that tell specific parts of the story; and Kcymaerxthaere Historic Sites, which are more like full-on chapters.
When you visit a location, you are responsible for your own safety. Please use common sense, respect our neighbors and their property, park legally, keep children under supervision, pack water and have fun.
One more thing: alongside the stories, descriptions, photos and turn-by-turn directions, every entry contains bonus mystery words. Keep browsing the app and you'll find many of these secret keys to understanding the Kcymaerxthaere.
