Welcome, music lover. We know you have great taste and music knowledge because you found us!
Since 1990, we’ve prided ourselves on a big, diverse music library comprised only of the world’s greatest songs. We’ve been called one of the most eclectic radio stations in the country – and we agree.

For over 20 years, 98.9 WMMO has been All About the Music, bringing it to you in fun, unique ways like with our 4-hour Sunday morning unplugged show, Sunday Morning Acoustic and our free Downtown Concert Series.
This app will tell you all you need to know for our free shows – the stage schedules, where the parking is, what food will be available…you can use it to hear us wherever you are, 24/7; tell us what to play on Studio 989 - the Lunchtime Takeover; sign up for alerts to get a text/email before your favorite songs play; set up reminders/alarms with custom recorded messages from your favorite rock stars and WMMO personalities; find out what big shows are coming, when tickets are going on sale and how to win tickets and once-in-a-lifetime WMMO Music Experiences.
It’s also a place to show off your Musicology. Play WMMO’s Musicology Trivia game and earn badges as you answer tough trivia questions correctly. You’ll learn as you earn them, too!
