Do you enjoy Indian food? This app is designed for enthusiasts of delicious Indian cuisine who want to cook their favorite Indian recipes at home. Indian cuisine has long and colorful history, dating thousands of years! Indian cuisine, combining simple cooking styles with natural food, has a long history. In the past, it was not common to have written Indian recipes. Instead, they were memorized and handed down from generation to generation.
The staples of Indian cuisine are Bajra, rice and atta. In Indian dishes, masala is very important and commonly found. Masala is the name for exquisite spicy mixtures crushed on the millstone.
Although Indian cooking follows basic cooking principles, there are regional variations, reflecting the varied demographics of the large and ethnically-diverse subcontinent.
To the North, Indians enjoy very rich and heavy food while in the South, Indians love light and healthy food. Meat, butter, cream and bread are common on the table of northerners. For example, Punjab, located in northwestern India is famous for its "tandoori" dishes which charcoal wood oven is often used to roast meat and bake bread. In southern Indian cuisine, it is easy to find a lot of vegetables, seafood and mustard seeds. One of the most famous dishes from Andhra Pradesh located in southern India is pappy which is mainly made of pigeon pea.
We created this app so that you can have a handy Indian Food cookbook at your side whenever you feel like cooking your favorite Indian dish. Use it at the Indian supermarket to be certain you purchase the correct ingredients. Then, use it at home, and keep it nearby so that you can use the colorful photos and simple but detailed recipes to guide you in your Indian cooking adventure.
Indian food is not difficult to cook at all. Just be patient, and you too can become an expert Indian chef. My intention is to share the enjoyment of Indian cuisine with like minded and courageous chefs. The recipes here are a true representation of the lifestyle and richness of true Indian culture.
