Flexicycle™ 3D iPad Application is an interactive 3D environment featuring Wärtsilä’s Flexicycle™ solution. Comprehensive and easy-to-use interface allows for navigation to many locations within the Flexicycle™ 3D power plant. Information retrieval at designated locations is available in various forms of media such as animations, publications and other documentation.
Wärtsilä’s Flexicycle™ solution combines the advantages of a flexible simple cycle plant with the superb efficiency of a combined cycle plant in a unique way, and can be optimised for different outputs in the 100 to 500 MW range.
Flexicycle™ plants are based on the Wärtsilä combustion engines ranging up to 20MW each combined with a steam turbine combined cycle. The Flexicycle TM plants can operate on liquid fuels and natural gas, thus being the world’s most flexible combined cycle solution. With Wärtsilä Flexicycle™ plants you can choose both high efficiency and agility, enabling competitiveness on both energy and capacity markets.
