ATD View 3D

This is a great 3D ATD data file viewer. ATD file is the native format of ATView3D and ATModel3D developed by Afanche Technologies, Inc. It is a cross-platform format. Free ATD 3D file viewer is available on pretty much all mobile systems including iPhone and iPad. With help of this app, you can take your 3D files with you no matter where you are and view them with your iPad directly..

The app provides many 3D features including rotating model with finger movement, zooming in/out, panning, changing color, etc. The app supports loading multiple models at the same time so that you can view them together. It is extremely helpful when you want to compare your 3D data sets to make sure everything works correctly. You can also use the app to figure out basic dimensions of your model, for instance, the length along x, y or z direction, total surface area, total length, etc.

You can add files to the app's document folder through iTunes and use the file open button of the app to load them. Please see instruction in the help page of the app about how to add files through iTunes to the app if you are not familiar with it already. You can also use the app to open files you received as your email attachment. Just press and hold on the attachment in you email app, and choose this app from the pop-up list, the app would be launched automatically. Or you can use it to open files from third party file management app, like DropBox, etc.


The app provides you file sorting features so that you can find your document quickly. You can sort by file name or file creation time. If you have too many files in the app's folder, you can use delete button of the app to remove the files you don't need any more. The app also tells you information about your files, for instance, the size and creation time of the files. If you need share files with your friend, coworker, client or partner, you can use in-app email feature to send your file out as email attachment.

The app provides unique in-app reviewing feature. You can easily take screen-shot of your file, draw your comment on the screen-shot and email it to your friends.
