HUNGARIAN FOLK DANCE PERFORMANCES
Hungary is one of only a few countries where folk dances are taught at a special college.
A visit to Budapest is not complete without seeing a performance of some of the best professional ensembles in the world.

A 1,5-hour Danube cruise along the UNESCO World Heritage sites with panorama of Budapest. Candle-lit buffet dinner. Live music is performed by the members of the world-famous Hungária Orchestra, lead by Zsigmond Vidak, who was awarded the Bronze Merit Cross of the Republic of Hungary.

Ever since 19th century in Hungary’s noble houses instead of a piano it was thought of as a typical Hungarian folk instrument – cimbalom (hammer dulcimer). So, in Hungary there are numerous versions of classical music pieces adapted for the cimbalom – instead of the piano.
