Since the start of FSB over 30 years ago,
I always had the objective of developing the best communication agency in the country. This almost personal obsession helped to keep my focus and coherence in these three decades.
The result is that we have built a leading company in the market, whose success is a consequence of the quality of its partners and professionals. Thus, we decided to honor and give voice to our team in this report.
After all, in 2011, more than ever, the result was clear. FSB became the first Brazilian company to be listed in the important ranking of portal The Holmes Report, in which it figures as one of the 25 largest communication agencies in the world.
Another international recognition took place in June, when FSB was awarded with the Silver Lion at the Cannes Festival for the work in social media, carried out for the government of Rio de Janeiro. The award is inedited for a Brazilian corporate communication company and reflects the investment made by FSB to structure its digital area.
To mark the passage of its 30th anniversary, FSB also developed important projects. The first one was the modernization of its visual identity. The other was launching of the book “E a Vida Continua – a Trajetória Profissional de Wilson Figueiredo” (Life Goes On – the Personal Trajectory of Wilson Figueiredo), biography of one of the most important Brazilian journalists and a colleague at FSB. Finally, FSB disclosed its Code of Principles, a script of the conducts already assumed by all professionals at the agency on a daily basis.
In 2011 we had the opportunity to strengthen our team even more. FSB finished the year with a total of 450 professionals, which represented a growth of 20% in comparison to 2010. We are very proud of this team, comprised of professionals from different backgrounds such as journalists, publicists, marketing specialists, socials scientists, attorneys, designers, programmers, etc.
Thus, FSB strengthens and prepares to better face the challenge of continuing to provide high quality services to its clients. In this sense, nothing has changed over the past 30 years.
