The Scott catalogues serve the needs of stamp collectors by providing accurate retail values for United States and all worldwide stamps. More than half a million stamps are listed and described, and more than 150,000 stamps are illustrated in color. Detailed editorial commentary and footnotes throughout the catalogues provide necessary context, and the 50-page introduction includes a glossary of terms and clearly explains how stamps are listed and valued. The Scott Standard catalogue of worldwide stamps is published in six volumes. The mainstay of the catalogues is the Scott Specialized Catalogue of United States Stamps and Covers.
