About Robin Graded Readers

Robin Readers are well graded and consist of three levels: Easy Start, Beginner and Elementary. The number of words and the sentence structure vary according to the level, from less to more and from simple to complex respectively, which can suit the needs of children of different competence in English.

The number of headwords is 200 at the easy start level, 300 at the beginner level and 600 at the elementary level. It is in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). Children at the appropriate level are expected to be familiar with those words. These three levels correspond with the A1 and A2 grades of the CEFR.
