LDS Daily Verse will empower you with a new inspiring scripture, edifying quote, and uplifting hymn each and every day of the year 2012. This app is oriented towards members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

► Inspiring Scriptures

Be inspired each day with a passage from the scriptures. Selected from all four LDS standard works, each scripture is followed by a link to the verses in context at LDS.org. Those that have LDS Scriptures App (the one that features the gold plates in the app icon) installed can view the verses in context offline.

► Edifying Quotes

Be edified each day as you read a thought-provoking quote from a member of the First Presidency or the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. A portrait of the author is shown next to each quote, along with a reference to the Church magazine where the quote can be found. Tap the reference to continue reading the cited speech or article at LDS.org.

► Uplifting Hymns

Be uplifted each day as you read the words to one of the sacred hymns of the Church. Or listen online to the music provided on LDS.org with a single tap. Because the music plays in the web browser (or the LDS Music app if you have it installed), you can even continue listening to it in the background as you use other apps.

► Browse, Share, and Bookmark

For those that just can't get enough, browse through the months of the year to uncover veritable LDS gems. If you find a scripture, quote, and/or hymn that is particularly meaningful or relevant to your life, share it with by sending an email or posting a message on your Facebook wall!
