DJ Nimis

Kyle Dillon is DJ Nimis. Introduced to electronic music in 2005, Nimis quickly fell in love with the genre, entering into the underground music scene and expanding his taste in music at light speed. In 2009 this passion led him to begin DJing for fun, well at the same time expanding his contacts and friends within the Vancouver night life industry. In 2009 Nimis met his future mentor and good friend Ryan Michaud (DJ Meesh), which finally led to Nimis purchasing his own equipment. 4 months later he played his first club gig at Tonic Nightclub on Granville. Since then Nimis has had the opportunity to play at a variety of clubs throughout the city, including the Modern, Cinema, Tunnel and Fortune Soundclub.

2011 was yet another awesome year for Nimis, with a 4 month residency at Market that exposed him to the lounge side of the night life industry. Playing a multitude of sounds, Nimis finds himself most at home with House, Electro and top40 club mashups. Just like the meaning of his name DJ Nimis likes to bring it all to the dance floor, exciting music and an entertaining stage presence define his sets.
