iChartNuclides

iChartNuclides is a Chart of Nuclides for the iPad utilizing its great touch pad feature to navigate around. Daughter, parent nuclides or meta-stable states are just one touch away. The full width half maximum (FWHM) of spectra from gamma and alpha emissions can be changed in real time.

iChartNuclides can as well be used on the iPhone and iPod touch with Retina screen, the letters will be very small so it will be necessary to zoom in and move around.

iChartNuclides will even work on iPhones without Retina screen, but then only the main Chart of Nuclides will be shown and no details view is available.

A lot of information for each nuclide is available: Half live, Abundance, Mass, Neutron absorption cross-section, Decay Modes including Branching Ratios, Meta-stable States, Binding Energy ...

for a total of >3840 Nuclides.

* Gamma Energies (>75000 entries)
* Alpha Energies (>1400 entries)
* Prompt Gamma Energies (>38000 entries)
* Beta decay: maximum and average Energies (>12000 entries)
* Amount of Spontaneous Fission Neutrons of most important Nuclides
* Fission Yields (induced by thermal and fast Neutrons and SF) for each Nuclide from about 30 fissionable Actinides (>38000 entries)
* Some Radiation Protection Data is available: dose rate for 1MBq/m^2 infinite plane source and 1MBq source in 10ml glass vial in 1m distance
* fission cross-sections for thermal (Maxwell average) and resonance neutrons from JEF-2.2, JENDL-3.2 or ENDF/B-VI
