Skin Scan Lite creates a fractal map for a mole and the surrounding skin! The fractal map reveals the growth patterns of both the mole and the surrounding tissue. This application is the perfect example of how mathematics, medicine and computer science can be brought together to improve our lives.
Features:
1) Fractal map of the mole/surrounding skin
2) Archive for each analyzed case
3) Possibility to upgrade to the full version of Skin Scan without losing any archived cases
How it works:
1. from a distance of about 15-20 cm(6-7 inches), focus the mole properly and then shoot a picture with the camera.
2. using two fingers, move and scale as much as needed for the mole to fit inside the red control square.
3. press the Use button and wait a couple of seconds for the result.
4. archive the result/mole in a case to track its development.
