With the “drums & percussion” app (language: English) you‘ll find everything that makes a drummer‘s heart beat faster. There are entertaining and informing in-depth interviews with the world‘s leading protagonists of the drummer‘s scene and exclusive photographs from the hot spot stages and clubs which you won‘t find anywhere else. In the section “Drumming Pioneers” we focus on musicians that laid down the tracks for today‘s drumming scenery. We‘ve also visited exiting events, manufacturers and put all our gained knowledge into a pleasant read and enjoyable photos. There are also reviews of the latest CDs, DVDs and books as well as stories about selected subjects. Plus, we have to offer plenty of workshops and practical advise sections from leading drummers.

In addition to journalistic demands and an ambitious design the “drums & percussion” app emphasises on intuitive operation and maximum value. A comfortable “reading mode” allows the display of pure text in variable sizes. Navigation happens either via graphical table of content or a menu with list view. Multimedia and online content can be accessed by a finger-tip through self-designated areas in the layout. You can scroll, zoom and navigate in the magazine with iPad-typical gestures on the touch screen. The “drums & percussion” app is far more than the electronic version of the magazine. In addition to content of the print edition there are many videos, slide shows and, of course, audio samples. This unique multimedia experience is a must-have for every drummer – and it‘s for free!
