Glasgow Free allows you to compute a patients Glasgow come score, which is a neurological scale that aims to give a reliable, objective way of recording the conscious state of a person, for initial as well as continuing assessment.
A patient is assessed against the criteria of the scale, and the resulting points give a patient score between 3 (indicating deep unconsciousness) and 15 (indicating virtually no pathology.)
Glasgow Free, for medical professionals, takes all the guess work out of calculating the severity of your patients coma. It also takes into account severe eye swelling and the patients intubation status. The utility gives you the Glasgow coma score and and estimation of the severity of the coma.
