••• Australia's peak industry body for poetry •••
Australian Poetry Ltd is a merger between the Australian Poetry Centre based in Melbourne and Poets Union based in NSW. It is the new peak industry body for poetry in Australia with a charter to promote and support Australian poets and poetry locally, regionally, nationally and internationally.
Australian Poetry’s vision is to excite all Australians about Australian poetry and poets by delivering an innovative national program of events, workshops, activities, festivals and publications in order to provide opportunities for Australian poets while engaging the wider Australian population, focusing on inclusivity and retaining high standards of excellence in regards to all activities.
This Iphone application is a work in progress and will be regularly updated to include more Australian poets and poetry-related activity happening in Australia.

Australian Poetry aims to support and promote Australian poets and poetry. It produces publications, events, an education program, festivals, possesses the most comprehensive library of Australian poetry in the world and currently has offices in Victoria, NSW, the ACT and Western Australia as well as hosting a Poet in Residence in the Northern Territory in 2011, Sandra Thibodeaux.
