Localmind allows you to ask questions of people checked-in at a location, thus giving you the ability to know what's happening at this very moment at any place you care about. Find out how crowded the bar is, what specials at the restaurant are, or whether the coffee shop's wifi is up. Mobile real-time omniscience at your fingertips.
LocalMindは”指定の場所”にチェックインした人に質問をすることによって、興味のある場所でこの瞬間に何が起きているかを知ることが可能です。バーはどのくらい混んでいるか、レストランでのオススメ料理、もしくはコーヒーショップで無線LANが使えるか事前に確認できます。指先でモバイルを活用しながらリアルタイムに情報を得られます。

HOW DOES LOCALMIND WORK?
LOCALMINDの使い方は?
Localmind allows you to send a question to someone that is checked-in (through Foursquare, Gowalla, Facebook Places, etc.) at any location you care about. Users receive the question to their mobile phone and answer in real-time. Send any question you want (e.g. is the wifi up, is the place open, is it suitable for kids) to any place you want (e.g. the bar down the block, the theater across town, the conference across the country).
興味のある場所にチェックイン(Foursquare, Gowalla, Facebook Places等を通じて)したユーザーに質問を送り、そのユーザーはリアルタイムに届いた質問に回答します。任意の場所(近くのバー、町の向こう側にあるシアター、国内のカンファレンスなど)に質問(無線LANが使えるか、営業しているか、子供を連れて行ってもいいのかなど)ができます。

You can now get answers to questions about any location, anywhere, anytime, by tapping into the rich expertise of Localmind users in your city or around the world! Beyond simply asking about a specific place (e.g. restaurant, bar, etc.), you can now find out what the best hiking trail in your city is, where the cheapest parking downtown is, and where to take your date on Friday night. Use the map to pick the part of town you're interested in, type your question, and local experts in that area — and topic, if you choose one — will answer in real-time. Go ahead, try it out!
What else is new?
1. Pass on questions that you'd rather not answer -- simply tap the "Pass" button.
2. Jump to anyplace in the world -- tap the search icon at the top left of the map.
3. If you haven't seen the new profile tab, you're missing out. Update your profile picture, write a short bio, and much more.
