Pollwatch allows you to directly vote for your preferred politician whether it be Federal and/or State. You can send them an e mail directly and check their wikipedia page. The application will present a calculated (% graph) reflecting the current mood of the electorate. There is also an interesting census, former Prime Ministers and “Hot Topics” section.
Once you have voted, your vote will be instantly calculated and added to the data, you have one vote per category, you may change your vote but you only have ONE vote. Your vote stays live for 30days.
Example: If a politician announces a good policy you may like to vote for that particular candidate, a 'Thumbs Up' for the idea, if a poor policy is announced you can vent your frustration and change you vote. (Thumbs Down).
The application is always current the true reflection of the constituents view will be live, current and available at any time.
There is also a 'Current Hot Topic' and a separate current "Hot Topic" page. The application will send a notification when the 'Current Hot Topic' is updated. (turn on 'Pollwatch' notifications in settings) Hot Topics are current "Yes/No" percentage answers with instant data. Again you may vote in the positive for a particular issue, but if you change your mind, you may then vote to the contrary. Remember you can change your vote, but you only have ONE vote, (per category).
