Serene Mind - A meditation tool for better relaxation and sleep
Serene Mind is a meditation guide to help turn one's focus from the outside world back to their breath. Focusing on an expanding and contracting ball, calibrated to your own breathing rate helps the user to slow down their mind and achieve a state of deep sleep or relaxation. We suggest that the user plays soft ambient music or white noise from their iPod or any music app while using this one. There is a log to help track your progress and see how your pulse and breathing rate will slow over time. We have included a simple sleep timer if you wish to use this application to fall asleep.
This application was developed by a licensed holistic practitioner with over 15 years of experience with meditation and internal cultivation exercises. It is our hope that this application will help make meditation more accessible for people. Please read the section on abdominal breathing and try that technique while using this application. With continued use stress levels should go down, sleep should improve and the mediations should help you relax and truly give you a serene mind.
