Study By App is proud to now offer a review application for students taking Precalculus. The purpose of this application is to help students understand the concepts and mathematical theorems that encompass the subject area of Precalculus. This application contains 500 flashcards that incorporate detailed imagery, textual information, flashcards with multiple panes, and audio explanations.
This application was developed by Mr. Eric Kean. Mr. Kean graduated with distinction from Cornell University with a degree in Statistics. After holding visiting lecturer positions at Oberlin College, Case Western Reserve University, and John Carroll University, Mr. Kean has been teaching Mathematics at Western Washington University, in Bellingham, WA since 2001. Mr. Kean has been described as a "ridiculously good teacher" and as someone who is "always clear and easy to understand" (Ratemyprofessors.com) and he brings the same clarity and energy to this Pre-Calculus app.
In addition to teaching Mathematics, Mr. Kean is on faculty in the Department of Music, where he teaches the viola.
