Radio DesiBeat started as just an idea to have a constant connect with people back home, for everyone who has been away from the motherland. Living in US, we knew there is a vacuum here, there may be media outlets but there’s a lack of a cohesive single source that can be counted on to keep one connected with the Desi community and its events along with helping us keep abreast with what’s happening back home. We want to bridge this need gap. And what better way to go about it than by throwing in some Bollywood magic. The result is one of the most easily accessible radio and entertainment network only for the diasporas from the South Asian countries and ethnic communities.
Latest chartbusters, golden oldies, foot-tapping Indi-pop and Bhangra, soothing Sufi, romantic Ghazals, private albums etc. You name it and we’ve got it for you.
The music interspersed with live chats, lots of Bollywood gossip, Hollywood hungama, interviews with your favorite celebrities, yoga tips, a special cooking corner where you can share your favorite recipes and RJs masti with special blogs, where they chat with you about everything under the sun.
